Surfrider Foundation is a worldwide environmental 501 c 3 organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans waves and beaches thru a powerful grassroots volunteer network. Surfrider has over one million supporters, activists and volunteers in the US and approx. 100,000 of those are in the state of California. Surfrider Foundation's South Orange County Chapter comprises over 10 local south county cities including Irvine with several high school Surfrider Clubs under our chapter's network.
About the presentation:
Surfrider will discuss its environmental initiatives in Orange County and beyond, specifically to plastic pollution and some of our local chapter initiatives such as moving forward with community choice energy (renewable) initiatives.
